Here is a list of 9 activities / habits you can do to succeed and feel and look good for spring.
1 Get Your Sleep 7 To 8 Hours Night: Turn off your TV. Turn off your cell phone. Turn off your laptop and all your social media. Get ready for sleep. Turn off the lights, turn down the heat and sleep soundly. A good nights sleep will make you healthier, happier, and able to function more efficiently.
2 Stay Hydrated: Drop the pop. Limit the alcohol. Drink lots of clear clean water. Hydrating is one of the easiest ways to improve your well being!
3 Plan Your Plate: Include fruits, vegetables, protein, grains, healthy fats in every meal.
4 Eat Often, Don’t Skip Meals Or Snacks: Consistently feeding your body with healthy foods, like vegetables, fruit, full grains, nuts, and proteins will help you manage your weight. You will feel full and not gorge on anything that’s laying around because you haven’t eaten. The best way is to be prepared. Have healthy foods around all the time. Such as pre-cut fruit, vegetables, low fat cheese, etc 🙂
5 Eat Out Or Eat Prepared Foods As A Treat Only: Learn to enjoy making your healthy meals and snacks. Go out for a treat, not the norm. It’s much easier to stay on your weight loss journey this way.
6 Eat Only Very Little Of: Processed flour, simple sugars, fruit juices, pop, alcohol, white grains (white bread), white rice. Instead, go for the whole grain brown goodness.
8 Get Up And Move: Run. Take your dog for a walk. Take your kids for a walk. Dance. Bike. Swim. Well, you get it. Get up and do what you enjoy. Just Move!
